Many people ask me: where did this painting come from?
Honestly, it wasn't painted — it was seen.
One ordinary afternoon, sunlight slanted through the window. I sat quietly, and suddenly an image appeared in my mind: two children lying in a golden field, nestled close together, glowing with light. Not sunlight — something that came from within. Warm. Pure. The kind that makes you want to cry.
I believe they were angels. Not the grand, imposing angels of religious art — but the kind that guard us quietly, staying by our side, never leaving.
I held onto that vision, and it became Heavenly Companions.
As I created this piece, I thought of so many people — those who keep going under the weight of life, those who fear loneliness but can't say it out loud, those who still believe in love and light.
My hope is simple: when this painting hangs in your home, may you feel it — you are never alone.
